Beta: Monday 31 August, 2026 Full Client Release: Mon 7 & Tue 8 September, 2026
🎉 What’s new in Release v235?
This release brings more clarity for your visitors at the point of purchase, a tidier CMS, and a more reliable connection for our UiTdatabank clients.
🎟️ Give your visitors full transparency over booking fees

What changed?
- A cost explainer can now be shown above the list of events on any production detail page.
- It sets out clearly how the ticket price is put together, so visitors know what they're paying for before they get to checkout.
How do I use it?
- Go to Configuration > Control panel > Events & Productions > Display cost explainer first.
🔍 Hidden content stays hidden in search results
What changed?
- Search indexes have been updated so that text inside hidden page parts, including those hidden via Advanced Visibility, is no longer searchable.
How do I use it?
- No action needed. This runs automatically on your website's search.
♿ A smoother experience for keyboard and screen reader users
What changed?
- Image lightbox navigation is now fully accessible.
- The price shown on hover is now picked up correctly by screen readers.
How do I use it?
- No action needed. These improvements are already live on your website.
⚙️ The CMS continues to be tidied up for better UX
What changed?
- A new Configuration menu group brings together the CMS modules you're most likely to need, previously mixed in among many others in the System group.
- System is now mainly used by CultureSuite itself.

- A major upgrade to the underlying CMS framework (EasyAdmin 5) brings clean URLs to every CMS page. Easier to share, and nicer to look at.
- A new Events module with a prices table is now available in Beta.
- Genres are now clearly labelled as "genre" or "tag" in drop-down menus, and shown as "hidden" where relevant.

How do I use it?
- No action needed for the new menu group, clean URLs, or genre labelling. Find the new Events module (Beta) in your CMS menu if you'd like to try it.
🔗 A more reliable connection to UiTdatabank
What changed?
- The UiTdatabank event sync connection has been modernised, with a new authentication method required by publiq.
- A new export protocol and CMS module bring improved reliability for keeping your events in sync.
How do I use it?
- Your Customer Success team will configure this for you. The new CMS module will show once it's activated, and you can continue using the old module in the meantime.
